We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while working closely with our marketing and leadership teams to drive growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for selling IT services or SaaS solutions and excelling in a team-oriented, competitive environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively identify and engage new prospects through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our technology solutions to potential clients, leveraging your understanding of industry-specific terminology and challenges.
  • Build relationships with Director/VP-level contacts to drive new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales leadership, and executives to refine outreach strategies and achieve team goals.
  • Maintain and manage a sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups and updates using CRM tools.
  • Hit or exceed performance metrics, consistently demonstrating a results-oriented mindset.
  • Engage in consultative selling to manage longer sales cycles and win new logos. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven success in a sales role, preferably selling IT services or SaaS solutions. Experience with consultative sales and hunting for new business is a bonus.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional demeanor.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales metrics and achieve top performance.
  • Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate across teams, including marketing and leadership, to align on strategies.
  • Initiative: Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently.
  • Networking: Experience in engaging and building relationships with Director/VP-level contacts. (An existing book of business is a significant plus.)
  • Background: Former athlete or experience in team-oriented, competitive environments is highly desirable.
