This position will require the candidate to perform web application testing using both automated and manual testing techniques. The successful candidate will display a strong sense of ownership, motivation, and attention to detail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated API/UI Tests in Selenium Java Hybrid Framework
- Leads sprint level release practice enabling the right coverage with evolving frameworks (Functional, Component, and E2E) alongside reporting
- Assist in building and implementing a test framework that tightly integrates with Azure CI/CD pipeline to fully automate release and delivery processes
- Work with the Development team / Product owners / Test engineers to understand current system work flows, integrations and test conditions
- Develop and continuously improve test automation frameworks, research/work on new test automation tools and develop API Testing components as needed
- Work collaboratively and effectively in a very fast paced environment
Qualifications:
- 4+ years’ in-depth experience working in Software Test Automation Engineering and/or Development of the SDLC to test instrument and web applications, both front end and back end
- 2+ years’ software development experience in Java Programming & Java Scripting programming
- Experience authoring automated API/web tests using frameworks/tools, such as Selenium with Java
- Familiarity with API and Web Services
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Automated UI and API Testing with Selenium Frameworks with Java
- Experience in Salesforce Testing is preferred.
- Experience working with databases, such as SQL or MySQL is Plus
- Be curious, detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly
- Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks
- Have proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage interdisciplinary relationships
- Have proven verbal and written communication skills
