Lockdown Alert System with Bridgera IoT
Bridgera’s IoT platform was configured to communicate via LoRa with the lock-engagement sensor. Our real-time data processing engine captures and processes the signal, and sends notifications to relevant support groups. Our platform allows notifications to be customized via emails, text messages and escalated into alarms in the event of a major emergency when several locks are engaged at a facility within a few seconds. Our web and mobile dashboards allow authorities to actively monitor the situation to determine appropriate actions. Bridgera’s solution also supported a ‘test mode’ that would help assess whether the system is working as intended. Our IoT analytics capabilities can track usage and flag maintenance issues as well as identify faulty locks. All features and business rules could be implemented by configuring Bridgera IoT components, and very little custom software development was needed from the ground-up. As a result the pilot was fully functional in a matter of a few days, once the sensor hardware was made available.
